A wonderfully elegant and ultra-cool and restrained nose exhibits notes of essence of high-toned red pinot fruit, wet stone, floral and subtle spice nuances, all of which is trimmed in just enough wood to warrant mentioning. There is a very classy mouth feel to the sleek and intensely mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that culminate in an exceptionally refined and equally pure finish where the only nit is a hint of warmth. This tightly coiled and still slightly youthfully austere effort is lovely stuff that will need time to develop more depth but the underlying potential certainly seems to be present.
