A very pretty, indeed even elegant if somewhat brooding nose proffers notes of violet, plum, dark berry, exotic tea, spice and soft forest floor nuances. The rich and seductively textured medium weight flavors possess a caressing mid-palate mouth feel thanks to the abundant amount of dry extract that buffers well the supporting tannins on the mildly austere and strict finish. This is certainly attractive in its fashion but it's needs a few years of cellar time first.
