Similar in color to the 2000; reticent nose with a little bread note, a slight glue or maybe reduction; green apple, bruised apple revealed with a little oxidative/aged note starting to show up but always with that bread, glue, lychee, pear aspect making it very intriguing; long tangy finish, bright notes, higher acid--cool lean higher acid year revealing itself. Really nice and all 5 DP's very different wines, however I still prefer the '96. The 1988, 2000, 2006 and 2009 were all very interesting, very good, but hard to say one was better than the other, except this one. With Richard Juhlin at Effervescence.
