Still drinking very very well but now so soft and integrated with the oak and tannins all gone that it is high time to drink up any remaining holdings. Wish we had another bottle - we recently acquired this sole bottle as part of a much larger cellar purchase. Did not decant it but had the bottle opened for about 3 hours and this seemed about right - did not significantly further improve in the glass. Beautiful well aged soft integrated high end Bdx blend. Nose more muted then palate with dark cherry, rose and tar on the nose. Very soft mouth feel with a pleasant lengthy aftertaste. Initially palate more fruity with persisting dark stone fruit including plum and dark cherry but then cassis along with earthier flavors of earth, mushrooms, ash and garrigue developed. Highly recommend - this is one old school classic.
