This is also quite restrained and requires aggressive swirling to coax the extravagantly perfumed and lavishly floral-suffused nose of clove, anise and cinnamon tea, violet, rose petal and hoisin aromas to reveal itself. The mouthfeel of the larger-bodied flavors is somehow lilting and elegant yet powerful and muscular with a distinct minerality before terminating in a breathtakingly long finish. At present this is a decidedly robust LT destined to live for years. Sheer class.
