Like the Bertheau, the expressive is perfumed and very pretty with ample spice and floral influences adding breadth to the softly secondary aromas of most earth and various red berries. The supple and quite generous medium-bodied flavors are rich to the point of being almost seductive, which contrasts somewhat with the moderate austere and complex finish that delivers very good if not excellent length. This is developing well, and I like the lovely balance.
