This does a slow but inexorable build from the mid-palate to the staggeringly long, almost painfully intense finish that simply lasts and lasts. This doesn't have the size and power of the Bâtard or the Montrachet but it's finer, purer and is the embodiment of sheer class. An awesome wine that rivals the unbelievable '99.
