An unusual bottling with an interesting story, this single malt whisky was distilled in 1966 then matured for 32 years before bottling for the US market. When the original sale fell through in 1998, they were left forgotten in storage until being rediscovered in 2019 and rebottled in 70cl for sale in the UK.

This one needs definitely some air to open up, starts first quite dusty, leafy and grassy but then shows nice sherry notes, can't catch up on the palate and in the finish Nose Very nutty, walnuts and almonds, dusty, old wooden cabinet, old books, little leafy, hints of green vegetables, spices, green pepper, hints of leather, toffee, chocolate - pretty good Taste Oily, subtle sweetness, little toffee, spices, dusty, woody, more walnuts and almonds, little unripe hazelnuts, little herbal Finish Medium long, warm, spicy, zesty, little bitter, hints of soapy notes
