The colour is amber. The nose is quite sherried, but not overly so. Bitter orange, chocolate, vanilla, a little spicy. Good, but not thrilling. The palate isn’t as bold as most of the older vintages’ It’s astonishingly fresh, which is good news, but it lacks some oomph. Oloroso sherry, a little wood, vanilla, spices, chocolate, raisins.
