Distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2008, this was initially matured in a traditional hogshead before a second maturation in a cream sherry butt.

Nose A fresh fragrance with flowery and fruity components at first nosing. Sweet, with vanilla and sandalwood aromas, notes of melon, pineapple, papaya and heavenly nectar. Reminds me of being on Hawaii with a lei around my neck. A superb nose !!! Taste Sweet mellow fruit nectar at first mouthfeel. A punchy attack, when swallowed, with a combination of fruity, oaky and spicy aromas. Lovely. Finish Medium long and very spicy with a whiff of peat. Pleasant.
