The excellent storage was in evidence as the nose, while fully mature, remains quite fresh with a mix of wet stone, dried green apple and soft floral and spice wisps. There is still very good verve, and particularly so for the '99 vintage at this juncture, to the mineral-driven and nicely precise flavors that offer both fine richness and length on the balanced, dry and sneaky long finish. This is lovely and a wine that is drinking perfectly now. Moreover, it should continue to do so though I would observe once again that the domaine storage undoubtedly helps.
