Framboise, strawberry, cherry, and pebble. Dried strawberry, cherry, tart rapsberry, and earth. The themes may be familiar, but for someone weaned on California pinots (like me), this is a revelation. The fruit was pure and clean, unmediated by oak or tannin. Right from the first fragrant sip, it sings.
