Valozieres is located just below Les Bressandes, and this is from the Premier Cru part. Transparent purple colour. Deep and rich and powerful but very clear and well-defined, hint of wood, a brooding wine, fresh and energetic, deep minerally core, firm tannic structure, long finish with great drive. In a style not dissimilar to the Côte de Nuits Village but more finesse. Needs time.
