This is still relatively primary though there are the first signs of secondary character present on the mildly exotic fruit, honeysuckle and lightly oak-inflected nose. There is fine richness to the relatively full-bodied and notably generous flavors that possess outstanding mid-palate fat and extract which serve to buffer the moderately firm acid spine on the wonderfully fine and lingering finish. While this is by no means fully mature the richness and mid-palate fat render the '07 Pucelles more accessible than might be otherwise expected and as such it would not be a crime to open this now even in magnum format. In a word, excellent.
