Tasted from magnum in deepest Tokyo in the wee small hours of the morning, this has a wonderful, minerally nose with limestone, fresh apple and a touch of chalk dust. The palate is very well balanced, perhaps not with the length of the really great Krug’s but just so natural in terms of balance and sheer verve. Sublime
