A brooding and largely inexpressive nose speaks of pungently earthy cool dark berry fruit aromas where additional breadth is present in the form of humus, underbrush and game tones. There is excellent punch and plenty of power evident on the muscular large-scaled flavors that exhibit fine depth and length as well as a touch of backend wood on the austere and moderately chewy finish.
