Two terrific bottles this trip. Open knit, warm, round, toasty, but still crisp and clean. Developed spice, light caramel and butterscotch, but mostly youthful and bright. Good bottles like these are still drinking with plenty of energy and verve. Tension and good bubbles. Light gold in the glass. Reference 1990 champagne. This has everything. Classic DP.
