A softly floral nose offers up gentle spice notes that include anise and hoisin that add breath to the notably ripe mocha-infused red cherry, plum and raspberry aromas. There is a round and seductive texture to the medium-bodied flavors that display exceptionally fine tannins on the dusty and tension-filled finish that really firms up as it lingers. Lovely and this is very Chaumes in character.
