Tasting note: (with thanks to Henry Tang). This has evolved a bit better than I orginally envisioned with only a trace of vegetal character to the earth, stone, truffle and game suffused nose. There is good verve and richness to the medium-bodied flavors that possess lovely detail on the attractively persistent and well-balanced finish. This is an attractive and understated Ruchottes that is drinking well now but should continue to hold for another decade, perhaps a bit longer.
