Initially this presented as earthy and almost rustic but then a pure raspberry and mulberry fruit came to the fore. There is also menthol and violets here. Tingly acidity and tannin, clearly still young. The acidity is quite high rendering a slightly austere wine. This is a well made polished wine with reasonable ripeness. Medium plus body. Long with hints of complexity. Early drinking now but better to wait for 5 years.
