A very fresh and appealingly layered nose speaks of both red and dark berry fruit aromas that are trimmed in subtle floral nuances. There is good volume to the deliciously round and succulent flavors that are blessed with solid amounts of structure-buffering dry extract before terminating in a firm and well-balanced finish. Good stuff that doesn't possess the distinction of the Les Cras but does offer plenty of Chambolle character and refinement.
