Complex and subtle nose with purple flowers, wet moss, saddle leather, burnt stew and perfume. Each whiff shows something new. The wine has some structure for a 2003. Rich and long on the palate but not too powerful. Some development, but mostly primary. I expect this will gain significantly more complexity over the next 5 years.
