This showed notably better than a 750 ml bottle in 2015 (see herein) as the plum, spice and floral-suffused nose was fresher though still exceptionally ripe. There is also better energy to the extremely rich and concentration broad-shouldered flavors that evidence a subtle minerality on the still very firm, and slightly warm, finish. This is perfectly good in its fashion but it's not for me. I should point out though that it's not the fault of the domaine, it's just that the character of the 2003 vintage dominates everything.
