There is a hint of crushed leaf character to the otherwise admirably pure and cool aromas of various red berries, floral scents and various spice nuances. I very much like the delineation and sense of energy to the mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that maintain their focus while culminating in a refined, balanced and impressively persistent finish. While this won't rival the finest vintages of Drouhin's Musigny this is one that you just feel like drinking and while it's not completely ready it's not so far away that it couldn't be enjoyed now. In sum this is a lovely '07.
