Translucent color to the rim. Medium weight in the glass. Nose somewhat muted but expressing typical smoke, blood and meat of Burgundian wine. Palate shows some weight, bright acidity and residual tannins beautiful cherries, strawberries, with black fruits on the finish. Balanced with medium complexity. Really believe this has more time. Lingering finish with some drying tannins. Beautiful wine as usual from this producer. The wine went fantastically with grass fed filet mignon and baked lobster tails.
