Very light in color out of the bottle, but darkened a bit as I decanted (about three hours). Typical nebbiolo color. Very expressive nose, though quiet out of the bottle. At the tasting, it was just singing. Lots of fruit, some floral, some spice. On the palate, it was again just great, good fruit, some tar and forest floor, long finish. Excellent, lived up to its name.
