I picked up a few of these after seeing the nice notes from my wine group buddies. Good decision - this is a wonderful aged BDX, with a nose of old leather, red fruit, earth, tobacco and sous bois. The palate shows almost equally well, with none of that blood/iron note I get in past peak bottles. Very smooth on the palate.
