Subtle wood spice frames elegant and very pretty aromas of red, black and violet notes nuanced by hints of earth and underbrush that dissolve into surprisingly forward middle weight flavors underpinned by firm yet very fine tannins and terrific length. While this does not lack for power, it's a relatively elegant and refined effort for this appellation.
