As was the case when I first reviewed this, there is still discreet but not invisible wood present on the wafting aromas of airy red berries laced with spice, especially anise, and plenty of floral nuances. The dusty and attractively refined medium weight flavors exhibit excellent length and eviden minerality on the still youthfully austere and decidedly firm finale. Not surprisingly, at only five years of age, and particularly from large format, this is still very young and in need of at least 10+ years of additional aging. Lovely stuff but it's presently very backward. Tasted twice in 2022 with essentially identical impressions.
