An intensely earthy and somewhat somber but extremely fresh and pure dark berry fruit nose trimmed in a pretty array of natural spice elements precedes round, sweet, intense and pungently mineral-driven big-bodied flavors that culminates in a long, cool and sappy finish that really fans out in the mouth. This is a Bèze of finesse rather than power.
