This is a really lovely '01 with ultra-pure aromas of citrus, white flower and wet stone that slide gracefully into precise, intense and bone dry medium-bodied flavors that exude a fine minerality on the clean, linear and bracing finish. There is plenty of acid pop to the backend though it's not aggressive and actually goes very well with the proper foods. This has just arrived at the front edge of peak drinkability and could be enjoyed now or cellared for a few more years first depending on your preferences but either way, it should hold well for years to come. Tasted twice recently with consistent notes.
