While there is some secondary development present on the otherwise very fresh and markedly floral inflected nose that is composed of ripe and overtly spicy black pinot fruit. There is a beautifully seductive texture to the supple, rich, round and strikingly pure mouth coating medium-bodied flavors that brim with dry extract on the impressively long and balanced finish. This is a big yet unusually refined Malconsorts that is sufficiently supple that it could easily be enjoyed now though for my taste it should continue to improve over the next 3 to 5 years. In a word, lovely. Tasted several times since release with admirably consistent impressions.
