Strikingly distinctive nose of game, rich black, earthy fruits and roasted coffee notes as well as something slightly animale plus lusty, full-bodied, intense, velvety flavors that display incredible presence. This is alive and vibrant and just screams breed and class. Much like the Combottes in that it is so intense as to seemingly result in permanent sensory overload. In short, this is a real stunner of a wine and possessed of an incredibly powerful finish. Wow!
