The Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres expresses sweet floral and earthy aromas followed by a fat, almost unctuously-textured personality. This superb wine is redolent with layers of earth, acacia blossom, white truffles, and peaches. It does not appear to be extraordinarily well-balanced. It should be consumed between 2000 and 2005.
