I was clearly too conservative with this wine since I initially tasted it and I have raised the score accordingly. An extremely ripe nose of wonderfully seductive aromas, including pain grillé, white flowers, pear, apple, peach and apricot notes all framed by obvious botrytis notes and a deft touch of wood. The incredibly rich, imposing and opulent flavors possess plenty of power and muscle before culminating in an impressively long and harmonious finish.
