Moderate bricking. Full-on secondary aromas include whiffs of sous-bois, exotic tea and dried flowers, especially rose petal; notably, and importantly, there are no pyrazine notes. Acceptably concentrated middle weight flavors possess an appealing texture along with bright acidity that is firm but not really drying on the sneaky long and bitter cherry pit-inflected finish where a touch of warmth slowly makes itself known. For my taste, this is largely ready but a wine should continue to hold. A quality 2004 that held up remarkably well even 4 hours after opening.
