There is a definite green tea character to the nose that has a vague pyrazine-like quality on the otherwise pretty, fresh, spicy and airy red berry and floral suffused aromas. There is a lovely and refined mid-palate mouth feel to the energetic middle weight flavors that culminate in a borderline drying and slightly short finish. I have experienced some bottle variation with this wine over the years as this particular bottle, while perfectly enjoyable, was a bit disappointing.
