A ripe and extremely fresh nose mixes notes of violet, plum and anise with those of dark pinot fruit and sandalwood. The medium weight plus flavors possess a positively gorgeous texture as it's highly seductive while delivering excellent length on the impeccably well-balanced finale. This could use better depth, but the underlying material appears to be up to the take. In a word, lovely.
