A background hint of reduction doesn't completely mask the overtly floral and cool aromas of spicy red berry fruit. There is excellent punch to the moderately concentrated, detailed and intense middle weight flavors that possess a mildly raspy if lingering finish. This appears to be nearing its peak though I would be inclined to allow it another 2 to perhaps as much as 5 years first. With that said, this could easily be enjoyed now with 30 minutes or so of air first.
