There is enough reduction present to push the underlying fruit to the background so if you're going to open a bottle, give it some air first. Otherwise there is good verve and delineation to the lightly stony middle weight flavors that possess a sophisticated mouth feel, all wrapped in a delicious and sneaky long finish. This could use better depth and it's not clear at almost 10 years of age that it's ever going to be super-complex though with that said, it's certainly very pretty.
