Great complex malt that alternates between tropic and sherry oak, not too much wood at all with age, great fruit bomb!
Nose
Super round and pleasant, almost too "round" or simple, very smooth fruit basket, apples, clementines, peaches, plus lots of light toffee, vanilla, light honey, that was it for the most part, a touch of kiwi and pineapple
Taste
Pineapple chips, papaya, green and red apples, pear, mango, again much more exotic than on the nose, great, flowery cognac, beautiful, round oak, ginger, camphor, a hint of tarragon, eucalyptus, more bitter orange and sherry influences over time, malt
Finish
Baked apple, bitter orange, more sherry-heavy again, eucalyptus, ginger, medium to long, warming, becoming drier
