Very elegant and calm, venerable Laphi, the finish looks as if it had even used a little too much time in the barrel, but otherwise very exciting, has something of an old Yoichi.
Nose
Excitingly light, lots of beautiful peat pear, light, soft, green apple, heather grass, gently maritime, light nuts, almonds, some green tea, light honey, pistachio, mineral notes, moss
Taste
Dry pear, chalk, pebbles, fine salt, white tea and pecans, pistachio, eucalyptus and fresh mint, forest honey, very subtle incense stick smoke
Finish
Green tea, chalk, green apple chips, eucalyptus, medium length, unfortunately becomes a bit oaky
