Appearance: Medium orange-amber with reddish tints. Lighter than the sherry. Nose: Bordeaux wine. Raisins, wax, vanilla, cookies, cinnamon. Palate: Raisins and vanilla, berries, light oak, caramel. Finish: Spicy, peppery, cinnamon, caramel, raisin. With Water: Sweeter, with more vanilla, raisins, cookies. Overall: Big, sweet, fruity wine character that is definitely different than sherry. Not my favorite, but original and interesting.
