Once again there is a discreet whiff of exotic fruit to the white peach, spiced tea and dried yellow fruit aromas where a background hint of viognier creeps in. The caressing and unusually sleek medium-bodied flavors possess fine volume and focused power on the caressing and refreshingly saline-inflected finish. This is particularly good in the context of a very hot and dry vintage which is not usually especially propitious for Criots.
