Cool, pretty and airy aromas are comprised by notes of both red and dark berries, earth and a hint of the sauvage. There is excellent verve, size and weight to the large-bodied flavors are impressively persistent on the youthfully austere and highly complex finale. This is also excellent and a wine that should amply repay a decade plus of keeping.
