Of the red wines that were drunk on the night, this was by some margin the least interesting. Nose was surprisingly floral, though as it started to breath you could get more than a hint of petroleum knocking around. The palate had crunchy and slightly unrefined tannins (though relatively integrated), and there was a menthol quality to be found as well. Drank like an above average village wine and not much more, really a product of its vintage with how lacking in concentration it is. If you have one, better off selling it, I don't see how see what positive trajectory this wine can go from here.
