An extremely ripe but not roasted nose offers up liqueur-like aromas of red cherry, black raspberry, spice and earth scents. There is excellent volume and minerality to the once again sleekly muscular big-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract which also helps to buffer the decidedly firm tannic spine on the moderately rustic, balanced and sneaky long finale. Patience will definitely be required.
