An interesting nose smell of warm and wet stone along with cool, pure and elegant notes of various red berries, particularly cherry and raspberry, along with floral and earth scents. The equally cool and pure medium-bodied flavors also exhibit plenty of minerality on the linear and powerful finish that delivers fine depth and length though there is a touch of dryness. Like several of the wines in the range there is enough gas present to render assessing the maturity of the tannins difficult but this appears to be reasonably ripe.
