Like many '98s, the nose is already open and expressive with its ripe and slightly exotic aromas of white peach, pear and hazelnut. There is fine mid-palate density and solid power to the nicely vibrant and relatively big-bodied flavors that offer good if not special depth and persistence. This could already be enjoyed but should allow for 3 to 5 years of upside development if that's your preference.
