We have drunk this twice this week. I opened but did not decant the first one about two hours before drinking. I opened and decanted the second four hours before drinking although I kept the stopper on the decanter until two hours before. Both experiences were excellent but the secret is in decanting. Wine was smooth, silky, delightfully provocative on the nose and palate with dark fruit abundant. This wine is an absolute winner.
